WHAT TESTS DO I HAVE TO TAKE?
There are two parts to the test and you need to pass both before you’re fully qualified to drive
The Theory Test costs £23 and has a two sections:
- multiple choice questions
- hazard perception test

The Practical Test costs £62; you should only book it once your driving instructor thinks you’re ready and you have passed your theory test. Any sooner and you’re likely to waste your time and money.
You’ll need to take your practical test within two years of passing your theory test – otherwise your theory test pass certificate will expire.
